Edward Martinez

Edward Martinez has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology and banking. Edward is the current Chief Data Officer and Head of the Data Intelligence Division at China Bank PH, a position they have held since 2024. Prior to this, they worked at Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) as the Head of Data Integration & Analytics from 2020 to 2024. Before joining BPI, they held various roles at Philippine National Bank, including Vice President of the I.T. Systems Development Department, Senior Asst. Vice President - Project Manager for Online Banking, and Asst. Vice President - Data Warehouse Architect and Project Manager. Edward also has experience as a Data Warehouse Architect & Business Intelligence Project Manager at Philippine Savings Bank, and as an I.T. Project Manager at Aboitiz Transport System Corporation. Edward's career started at Bayantel, where they worked as a Section Head - IT Systems Development. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated their expertise in cloud computing strategy, application design and deployment, project management, data warehouse architecture, business intelligence, and software development.

Edward Martinez graduated from AMA University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In 2010, they enrolled at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business, pursuing an MBA degree through the Regis Program.
