Mr. Gao Yu is the independent non-executive director of the Company and joined the Company in July 2007. He is currently the managing director of the Private Equity Division of Morgan Stanley Asia Limited, and he primarily focuses on private equity investment activities in China. He is a non-executive director of Sparkle Roll Group Ltd. which is listed on the main board of Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Asia Limited, he worked in Citigroup's Investment Banking Division in Asia for about five years. Mr. Gao had also worked in Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Inc's Capital Markets Group in New York. Mr. Gao graduated from Stanford University with a Master's degree in engineering economic systems and operations research as well as from Tsinghua University in Beijing with dual Bachelors' degrees in engineering and economics.

China Dongxiang (Group) Co., Ltd. is principally engaged in brand development, the design and sales of sport-related apparel, footwear and accessories in Mainland of People's Republic of China, Macau and Japan. The Company operates its business through three segments. The China segment is engaged in the distribution and retail of sport apparel under Kappa Brand and other brands and international business which includes the provision of Kappa Brand products for other Kappa licenses in other countries. The Japan segment is engaged in the distribution and retail of sport apparel under Kappa, Phenix and other brands. The Investment segment is engaged in investment in kinds of financial assets and treasury products issued by commercial banks.
