Katarina Sundin

Katarina Sundin has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Katarina began their career at Saab Automobile AB in 1998, where they served as a Group Manager for Interior Testing & Development. In this role, they were responsible for managing a team of test and calculation engineers and building up a laboratory.

Katarina later took on the role of Project Leader for Interior Cost Reduction at Saab Automobile AB from 2002 to 2004.

From 2005 to 2010, Sundin worked as an Engineering Group Manager for Airbags & Steering Wheel at Saab Automobile AB. Katarina had global responsibilities for developing airbags and steering wheels for all brands within GM.

In 2010, they became the Manager of the Customer Interaction Center Operation at Saab Automobile AB, where they were responsible for building up the customer service center.

Sundin joined CEVT (China Euro Vehicle Technology AB) in 2016 as a Module Team Director for Seats & Restraints. In this role, they managed a team of engineers and developed platform technologies for seats, airbags, safety belts, and steering wheels. Katarina later became a Vice President in various roles, including Vehicle Integration and Test Object & Verification Management.

In 2012, Sundin joined Högskolan Väst (University West) as a Department Manager and Deputy University Director. In this role, they were responsible for financial and management support, change management, and process development.

Throughout their career, Sundin has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in engineering, project management, and customer service.

Katarina Sundin completed their education with an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Luleå University of Technology, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Prior to that, from 1982 to 1986, they attended Olympia, where they studied Science but did not receive a degree.
