Jiegen Wei

Jiegen Wei is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in macro strategy, currently serving as the Director and head of Macro Strategy at China Investment Corporation since December 2009. Prior to this role, Jiegen Wei worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Gothenburg in 2009. Jiegen Wei holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Gothenburg and a Master's Degree in Economics from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Additionally, Jiegen Wei earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Economics from Peking University and has further academic credentials in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
