Cliff Cheang has worked in the IT industry since 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at CSOP Asset Management as an IT Supervisor. During this time, they designed and implemented a Windows-based .NET C# in-house trading application which managed the portfolio of funds and bought/sold baskets of funds via the Bloomberg Exchange Protocol. From 2015 to 2016, they worked at AIA Pension and Trustee as an Associate. During this time, they designed and implemented Windows-based VB.NET applications for in-house fax administrative operations, email alert rephrasing, and EDLP server log rephrasing. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at China Oceanwide International Financial Limited as a Middle Office Developer. During this time, they enhanced the VWAP and TWAP logic, created new error flow logic, changed the DB from H2 to MS SQL 2016, modified Scene UI, used XML message exchange information between server and client, and implemented multi-threading using JavaFX with maven and Spring Framework. Lastly, from 2018 to the present, they have worked at ChinaAMC (HK) as an IT Manager. During this time, they have been responsible for the migration of OEMS trading systems from Charles River Dev. to Bloomberg AIM.

Cliff Cheang received a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Computer Science from The University of Hong Kong between 2008 and 2011.
