Member Board Of Directors at Chinese for Affirmative Action

Eddy Zheng serves as a member of the Board of Directors for UnCommon Law, where support is provided to individuals navigating California's discretionary parole process through trauma-informed legal representation and advocacy. As the President and Founder of the New Breath Foundation, Eddy Zheng offers services to Asian American & Pacific Islander immigrants, including those impacted by incarceration and survivors of violence. In an advisory capacity at AYPAL, Eddy Zheng helps empower low-income Asian & Pacific Islander families in Oakland. Eddy Zheng is also a board member of Chinese for Affirmative Action, advancing civil and political rights for the Asian American community. Previously, roles included Commissioner on the Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Commission and Co-Director at the Asian Prisoner Support Committee, focusing on support for Asian & Pacific Islander prisoners. Eddy Zheng's education includes a Ph.D. in Penology, Rehabilitation, Redemption, and Transformative Justice, alongside an Associate of Arts degree from Patten University.
