Alessandra Desousa has a diverse work background in the food industry. Alessandra started their career at Sadia (Brasil Foods) in 2002 as a Food Technician. Alessandra then worked at QK Meats South Africa as a New Product Development Manager from 2005 to 2008. Alessandra joined JBS in 2008 and held various roles, including Total Quality Manager and Procurement Superintendent. From 2009 to 2010, they worked at JBS as a Carrier Support Manager - Transportation. Alessandra joined Pilgrim's in 2010 as an Inventory and Distribution Director until 2013. Alessandra then joined Taco Bell in 2014 and held multiple positions, such as QA Manager International and Supply Chain Manager - International. Alessandra became the Director of Supply Chain International at Taco Bell in 2022. Currently, they serve as the Director of Procurement at Chipotle Mexican Grill starting in 2023.

Alessandra Desousa holds a Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná, which was earned from 1998 to 2003.
