Manak Matiyani

Manak Matiyani is an experienced advocate for youth and sexual and reproductive health rights, currently serving as an Advisory Board Member at CHOICE for Youth & Sexuality since June 2022. Previously, Manak held the position of Executive Director at The YP Foundation, driving strategic growth and program management from March 2015 to June 2022. Additionally, Manak has been a General Body Member at Jagori since August 2017 and a Trainer and Consultant from January 2014 to February 2015, focusing on gender and sexuality training. Notable contributions include leading the Must Bol Campaign as a Facilitator at Commutiny - The Youth Collective, and developing the Learning and Leadership Journey Fellowship as a Program Coordinator. Manak's early career involved documentary filmmaking and research, particularly in human rights advocacy and post-disaster development. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Sri Venkateswara College and a Master's degree in Media and Mass Communication from Jamia Millia Islamia.
