Jonathon Skavroneck has a diverse range of work experience. Jonathon began their career as a Congressional Intern for the U.S. House of Representatives in 2015, where they gained valuable knowledge of Capitol Hill processes and dynamics. In 2016, they became the Deputy Campaign Manager for Benny Zhang for Williamsburg City Council, playing a key role in a grassroots campaign that successfully registered over 1,000 new voters.
In 2018, Skavroneck worked as a Communications Intern for Media Matters for America, where they tracked media impact, researched press contacts, and developed an effective pitching strategy using various tools. Jonathon then transitioned to Octagon Political Strategies as a Principal Consultant, providing personalized political consulting to local candidates and guiding three successful campaigns to electoral success since 2016.
Most recently, Skavroneck has been with Chong + Koster, starting as a Junior Strategist in 2019 and progressing through various roles. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Strategy, utilizing their expertise in strategic planning to contribute to the company's success.
Jonathon Skavroneck obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree (International Honours) in International Relations from the University of St Andrews. Additionally, they earned another Bachelor of Arts Degree (International Honours) in International Relations from William & Mary.
