Alan Byrne

Alan Byrne has extensive work experience in product management, with a focus on various industries and areas. Alan currently works at CHOOOSE as a Product Person. Prior to this, Alan worked as a freelance Product Leader at Go Sympatico. Alan also held positions at HelloBetter as a Lead Product Manager and Senior Product Manager. Additionally, Alan gained experience as a Product Manager at Zalando SE, where they specialized in design systems, and at Dataiku, where they focused on machine learning operationalization. Earlier in their career, Alan served as a Product Specialist at Zalando SE, specifically in the field of fashion insights and AI platforms. Alan began their career at FireEye, Inc., where they worked as a Software Performance Engineer.

Alan Byrne completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering at the University of Galway from 2010 to 2015. Alan then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Liverpool between 2018 and 2021. Additionally, they attained the Product Psychology Masterclass certification from Growth.Design in June 2022, and the Digital Behavior Change Certificate from the Behavioral Design Academy of AlterSpark in January 2022.
