Garth Forrest

Garth Forrest has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Garth started their career as a Workshop Supervisor at AZTECH ENGINEERING LIMITED from May 2007 to September 2010. Garth then worked as a Store Manager at First Transit from September 2011 to August 2013, and later at Metroline Travel from August 2013 to August 2014.

In 2014, Garth joined Trueform Engineering Ltd as a Senior Buyer, where they were responsible for procurement, purchasing, and contracts management. Garth worked in this role from August 2014 to November 2016.

Garth then joined Corporate Consumables Limited in April 2017. Initially hired as a Procurement and Financial support to the CFO, they were later promoted to the role of Procurement and Supply Chain Manager. In this role, they had overall accountability and responsibility for the company's total supply chain, including supplier management, inventory management, warehousing, and delivery. Corporate Consumables is currently in voluntary wind-down mode.

Most recently, Garth has been working as a Commercial Manager at Chorus NZ Limited since April 2018.

Garth Forrest completed their Diploma in Purchasing and Supply from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply in London from 2014 to 2015. Garth then pursued a Prince2 - Project Management Foundation certification from Simetral in 2016. Prior to that, Garth completed an Apprenticeship in light fabrication from Competenze - Skills for industry between 2001 and 2003. Garth attended Mountainview High School in Timaru, New Zealand, although the dates of their enrollment are not specified.
