Theresa Corballis

Theresa Corballis has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Theresa started their career in 1998 at Lucent Technologies, where they held various roles including Senior Sales Manager and Director of Sales and Business Development in Latin America and the Caribbean. Theresa then joined Qpass Inc as the Director of North American Sales. After that, they worked at Cisco Systems New Zealand Ltd, where they served as a Global Account Manager and later as part of the Global Service Provider Mobility Practice. Theresa also worked at Sandvine as the Regional Manager for New Zealand and the Pacific Islands before moving on to Ericsson, where they held the position of Principal Account Manager and Country Manager for New Zealand. Theresa then founded Monetize and served as the Founder and Director, leading the transformation of communication service provider monetization and customer experiences. Theresa also worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as the Communications Media Solutions Lead for New Zealand. In their most recent role, they joined Google as the Financial Services, Telco, Media, Energy Lead for Google Cloud NZ. Currently, they are working at Chorus NZ Limited as a Business Development Manager in the Smart Location/IoT Public Sector.

Theresa Corballis has a diverse education history. Theresa began their academic journey at the University of Nevada, Reno, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs/Spanish Literature from 1985 to 1991. Following this, they furthered their education at the same institution and earned a Master of Arts degree in Spanish Linguistics and Literature from 1991 to 1994.

Seeking to broaden their expertise, Theresa then enrolled at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey from 1994 to 1996. During this period, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on International Marketing and Management.

Apart from their academic qualifications, Theresa Corballis has also pursued various certifications to enhance their professional skills. These include completing the "DIGITAL MARKETING: CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT, SOCIAL MEDIA, PLANNING & ANALYTICS Certificate" from Columbia Business School in September 2019. Additionally, they obtained the "Governance Director" certification from the Institute of Directors in New Zealand in August 2018.

Moreover, Theresa has shown an inclination towards gaining expertise in cutting-edge technologies and digital transformation. Theresa achieved certifications such as "Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Machine Learning" from LinkedIn in November 2022 and "Google Cloud Digital Leader" from Google in April 2022. Theresa also acquired significant knowledge in cloud computing by obtaining the "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as the "Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner" certification from Credly, both in February 2023.

Furthermore, Theresa Corballis has recently completed two courses on LinkedIn in June 2023: "Generative AI for Business Leaders" and "Mel Robbins on Confidence," demonstrating their commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
