Jon Rothenberg

Jon Rothenberg has a diverse range of work experience in product design. Jon currently serves as the Lead Product Designer at ChowNow, where they are responsible for leading the design of their marketplace mobile apps. Their role includes defining the marketplace strategy, executing key features and initiatives, mentoring other designers, and collaborating with design heads and leads to improve operations.

Before joining ChowNow, Jon held the position of Senior Product Designer at Bain & Company. During their time there, they contributed to the design of various products and projects. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Designer for the same company.

Jon also has experience as a Founding Product Designer at Occuspace, where they designed and launched a B2C mobile app that allowed students to monitor the busyness of areas around their campus. The app expanded to 14 campuses nationwide and received media attention.

Additionally, Jon worked as a User Experience Design Intern at Viasat Inc., where they focused on developing purchasing and account management flows for users in rural areas of Mexico. Jon utilized wireframes, prototypes, design audits, and competitive analyses to bring their ideas to life.

Jon Rothenberg received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Cognitive Science with an emphasis in HCI from UC San Diego, where they studied from 2015 to 2018. In 2021, they obtained the Scrum Product Owner Certified (SPOC) certification from Scrum Inc.
