Carolyn Herrmann

Carolyn Herrmann serves as the Deputy General Counsel at the Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA) since February 2023, following a tenure as Deputy General Counsel, Standards at the US Pharmacopeia from March 2021 to February 2023. Prior experience includes Associate General Counsel at Nestlé Nutrition North America (Gerber) from June 2019 to March 2021, where Carolyn provided legal services related to baby food, formula, and dietary supplements. Earlier roles include Deputy General Counsel at CHPA from June 2012 to May 2019, advising on commercial, regulatory, and legislative matters, and Attorney at Shook, Hardy & Bacon, LLP from November 2006 to June 2012, focusing on regulatory compliance for pharmaceutical products. Carolyn holds a Law degree from American University Washington College of Law and a BA in Political Science and Government from the University of Maryland.
