Tyler Whitlock

Tyler Whitlock, CPA has a diverse work experience in various industries. Tyler is currently working as the Sr. Director of I&T (Business Analytics) at Christensen Arms, where they focus on business analytics and IT management to improve business processes and decision-making. Tyler previously served as the Director of Finance and Administration at the same company.

Prior to their role at Christensen Arms, Tyler worked as an Audit Associate at Tanner LLC, one of Utah's leading accounting firms. During their time there, they gained significant experience in auditing clients from sectors such as banking, construction, SAAS, and manufacturing industries.

Tyler also has experience working at Leavitt Group, where they served as the Managing Controller's Assistant and later as the Regional Controller's Assistant. Additionally, they worked as an Insurance Agent specializing in Property and Casualty insurance at Security Insurance Agency.

Tyler's earliest work experience was as a Waiter at Brian Head Resort, where they focused on providing exceptional customer service while enjoying their passion for snowboarding.

Tyler Whitlock, CPA, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business, which they obtained from 2023 to 2024. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2016, they completed their Master's Degree in Accounting at Southern Utah University. Tyler graduated from Juab High School in 2010, earning a High School Diploma with a focus on High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates.

In addition to their formal education, Tyler has pursued further certifications and completed courses to enhance their skills. Tyler obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from the AICPA in March 2018. Furthermore, in September 2023, they completed the Differential Calculus Course and the Software Engineering for Data Scientists Skill Path, both offered by Codecademy. In December 2022, they also completed the MBA Math Quantitative Skills Course from MBA Math.
