Dr. Melkey Stephen Bunyan

Dr. Melkey Stephen Bunyan is a Project Research Scientist at Christian Medical College & Hospital since March 2024, focusing on health systems capacity building and coordinating multi-centric field studies. Previously, Dr. Bunyan served as a Program Coordinator at Noora Health, managing the Care Companion Program, and completed postgraduate studies in Public Health with an emphasis on Epidemiology at KLE University. Additional experience includes a Research Intern role at the Indian Council of Medical Research, a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer position with the World Health Organization, and freelance work as a Biostatistician. Earlier in the career, Dr. Bunyan worked as Chief Physical Therapist at Mel's Physiotherapy And Rehabilitation and as a Physiotherapist at a Government Hospital. Educational qualifications include a Master's of Public Health from KLE Society’s Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and a Bachelor's of Physiotherapy from NTR University of Health Sciences.
