Emily Wolinsky

Emily Wolinsky is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in outreach and education within the disability community. Currently serving as the Director of Outreach and Education at the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation since February 2023, Wolinsky has been the President of NMD United, a non-profit organization advocating for adults with neuromuscular disabilities, since June 2014. Emily's prior roles include Student Accessibility Services Associate Advocate at Austin Community College, where Emily supported students with disabilities from May 2013 to February 2023, and Project Director at the Texas State Independent Living Council. Wolinsky's career also includes experience in educational settings, having worked as a teacher for the Austin Independent School District from 2003 to 2010. Emily holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Educational Leadership and Administration and a Master's in Counseling, both from Prairie View A&M University.
