Tom Lawler has had an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Tom started their career at First Union, then Wachovia, and eventually acquired by Wells Fargo, where they held multiple roles from 1996 to 2018. At Wells Fargo, they served as SVP/Business Initiatives Senior Manager, leading a project to divest the company from third-party insurance sales. Tom also worked as a Customer Experience Leader/SVP, leading the customer experience segment for a 25-state region. Prior to Wells Fargo, they worked at Wachovia Bank as a Customer Experience Executive/SVP, where they led the customer experience segment for various banking divisions. Before that, they held positions at Wachovia Corp and First Union National Bank. In 2018, Tom Lawler joined CPJ Corporation & Toalch Enterprises, LLC, dba Bobby Rubino's Place for Ribs as EVP Marketing, Operations, Sales & Service and Proprietor, where they improved all aspects of the business model and brand. Currently, they are Head of Consumer Lending Intelligence/Senior Director at J.D. Power, leading the lending practice and delivering actionable insights for the syndicated lending studies.

Tom Lawler holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S. B.A) with a concentration in Finance and Financial Management Services from Manhattan College. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include Left to Right Selling from Acclivus Corporation in May 2022, Florida Certified Food Manager from SERVESAFE LTD in October 2018, Insurance Producer's License from the State of New Jersey in August 1996, Series 6 from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in August 1996, and Series 63 from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in August 1996.
