Edward Ler

Edward Ler is the current Head of Southeast Asia at Chubb. Prior to this, they served as Country President in Indonesia from October 2014 to May 2016. From January 2013 to February 2018, they were the Senior Vice President and Regional Head of Personal Lines and Business Insurance for Asia Pacific at Chubb. From July 2012 to December 2012, they served as the Asia Underwriting, Claims and Reinsurance Director at RSA. From April 2012 to July 2012, they served as the Regional Commercial Lines Director for Asia and the Middle East at RSA. From August 2010 to April 2012, they served as the Asia Technical Director at RSA. From August 2006 to April 2009, they served as the Head of Financial Institutions and Chief Underwriting Officer for Financial Lines at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty. From April 2009 to July 2010, they served as a Client Manager at Allianz Re Dublin Limited. From July 2001 to August 2006, they served as a Senior Underwriter for Casualty and Financial Lines in the Asia Facultative Division at Allianz.

Edward Ler works with Glen Browne - Division President, Consumer Lines - APAC, Peter Kelaher - Country President, Australia, and Edward Kop - Country President, Korea. Edward Ler reports to Paul McNamee, SVP & Regional President, Asia Pacific.
