Joo Young Kang

Joo Young Kang serves as the Vice President of Global Benefits at Chubb, leading global benefits strategy and North America operations since January 2020. Prior to this role, Joo Young Kang was responsible for Chubb’s US and Puerto Rico benefit programs as Vice President of US Benefits. Joo Young Kang's earlier experience includes positions at Chubb Insurance, where responsibilities encompassed administering significant retirement programs and leading a strategic team in Global Retirement Benefits. Joo Young Kang's background also features extensive work at MetLife, contributing to global product development and operations as well as managing large teams in group product operations. Joo Young Kang's legal expertise originated at Lowenstein Sandler PC and Bingham McCutchen, specializing in ERISA, alongside foundational experience as an Employee Benefits Tax Consultant at Arthur Andersen LLP. Joo Young Kang holds a J.D. from Cornell Law School and a B.A. in Government and History from Cornell University, graduating magna cum laude.
