Teri Carris

Teri worships with the Livonia Church of Christ where she and her husband were baptized in 1978, in part due to the Herald of Truth. Teri is actively involved in her church where she has taught children’s Bible classes, helped with the youth ministry, and led a prayer ministry. Teri has been a nurse since 1974, working in both the hospital and home care where a majority of her patients were elderly. Though Teri recently retired, she continues to use her nursing skills to help family, friends, and members of her congregation. Her involvement with the elderly, both professionally and privately, has given her a deep understanding of the unique needs of the elderly and the challenges they face on a daily basis. Teri has great respect for the elderly who are a treasure of rich life experience and knowledge that we can continue to benefit from. Teri states that she is honored to serve on the board of the Church of Christ Care Community to ensure that these treasures, the elderly, receive the best possible care to meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
