Allen Southerland

Allen Southerland serves as the Chief Recruitment Officer at Shepherd Community Center since April 2014, contributing as part of the C-suite team. Allen also holds the position of Work and Witness Coordinator for the USA/Canada Region of the Church of the Nazarene since April 2018. Allen's extensive experience in pastoral roles includes serving as Lead Pastor at Intersection Community Church at the Ransburg YMCA, as well as previously at Martinsville First Church of the Nazarene and Spiceland Church of the Nazarene. Allen has played a significant role in fostering a church planting movement in Indianapolis and working towards breaking the cycle of poverty in urban neighborhoods. Educational qualifications include a MAPL in Pastoral Leadership from Olivet Nazarene University and a BA in Religious Education from Union Bible Seminary.
