Carissa Ouellette

Director of Operations Training and Development at Chuze Fitness

Carissa Ouellette has extensive work experience in the hospitality and fitness industries. Carissa started their career as a Front Desk Agent at Hyatt Regency in 2006. Carissa then worked as a Catering and Conference Services Intern at The Lodge at Torrey Pines in 2007, followed by an Event Planning Intern role at Divinity by Cory Martin in 2009. In 2008, they became a Sales Coordinator at The Lodge at Torrey Pines and held the position until 2011. Carissa then joined Festivities Catering & Special Events and Picnic People as an Event Coordinator from 2011 to 2012.

Carissa Ouellette started their tenure at Chuze Fitness in 2012 as an Assistant General Manager and later served as a General Manager from 2013 to 2014. Carissa then became a District Operations Training Manager from 2015 to 2017 and continued their journey at Chuze Fitness as the Director of Operations Training and Development from 2018.

Carissa Ouellette completed their education history, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management with an emphasis in Meetings & Events Operations & Management from San Diego State University. Carissa attended the university from 2005 to 2009.

Prior to attending San Diego State University, Carissa Ouellette obtained their High School Diploma from Torrey Pines High School. Carissa completed their high school education from 2001 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Carissa Ouellette obtained certification in Human Resources Management from San Diego State University in December 2013.
