Heath Harding has extensive work experience in leadership development and training. Heath is currently the Director of Training (Learning and Development) at CI International, Inc., where they provide leadership development for Federal government employees and collaborates with peers and company leadership. Prior to this, they co-founded Mindful FED, an interagency collaboration aimed at providing mindfulness practice to federal employees.
Heath has also held various roles at the Federal Executive Institute, Center for Leadership Development, US Office of Personnel Management, including Supervisor, Faculty & Executive Coach, and Program Director. In addition, they have worked as a lecturer and graduate teaching assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and as the Director of the Organizational Leadership and Communication Program at Nebraska Wesleyan University.
Heath has contributed to the field of leadership through their work as the Associate Director of the Illinois Leadership Center at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and as a President at Outlinc (now OutNebraska). Heath has also worked as an HIV/AIDS Educator at the Douglas County AIDS Project and as an Assistant Director and Educational Technology Specialist at Kansas State University. Additionally, Heath has authored a chapter on perception and its impact on interpersonal leadership in the Developing Human Potential textbook published by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Heath Harding completed their education with a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1999, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Secondary Education with a focus on Educational Technology at Kansas State University. Lastly, from 1988 to 1995, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Elementary Education, also from Kansas State University.
