Job Description
In this role you will be a member of the Sales Team to help execute the company’s USDA NRCS Program go-to-market strategy and train growers/agronomic advisors on how to successfully apply for USDA NRCS programs using the CIBO Impact platform. You will have responsibility for achieving our USDA NRCS program enrollment targets.
This role will be responsible for understanding USDA NRCS Program rules and updates, training our existing Grower Network partners on how to apply to USDA NRCS programs using the CIBO platform, and assisting our Sales team to pitch the USDA NRCS programs solution to new customers. In addition, in this role you will collaborate with the product team to identify key areas to improve the grower/advisor application process.
The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneur in nature with experience assisting growers enroll into USDA NRCS programs or private sector programs and/or experience selling agricultural related software.
Responsibilities
Support the execution of the company's B2B engagement strategy within the Grower Networks, aligning with USDA NRCS program objectives.
Build and nurture positive, long-lasting relationships with both existing and potential customers interested in USDA NRCS programs.
Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and effectively communicate business requirements within CIBO to drive the development of the USDA NRCS program solutions.
Represent the company in the market, contributing to the establishment of CIBO's reputation as a trusted partner in sustainable agriculture.
Train and educate grower networks on the benefits of the USDA NRCS Programs and how to apply using the CIBO platform
Stay up to date on USDA NRCS Program policies to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the sustainable agriculture technology landscape.
Collaborate with the product, marketing and business development teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of solutions.
Qualifications
Intellectually agile and curious, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
Excellent communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree in agronomy, crop science, soil science, environmental sciences or a related field.
3 + years of progressive experience working to assist with growers or agronomists enroll into regenerative agricultural programs, USDA NRCS program experience is preferred.
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
Passion for the environment and sustainability.
High level of integrity and a strong commitment to building a successful and sustainable company.
