John Tillotson

John Tillotson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. John most recently served as the UK Operations Director at CIBT. Prior to that, they were the Head of Operations at ARRIVAL LTD from March 2017 to December 2021. John has also worked as an Account Manager at Corporate Traveller UK, Executive Assistant to the CEO at Smart Matrix Ltd, and Global Relationship Manager at RAFT Medical Research. Additionally, they have held positions such as Commercial Manager at Meridian Line, Executive Assistant to the Chairman at Crabtree & Evelyn, and Senior Adviser & EA to the Chairman of the Board at Summa Group. John started their career as a Language Instructor at Berlitz, teaching English, Swedish, Danish, and Dutch to clients such as Unilever and Google. John also gained research experience as a Researcher for the International Network for Emerging Nuclear Specialists.

John Tillotson has a diverse education history. In 2004-2008, they pursued a BA in Dutch at UCL, focusing on Linguistics, Social, and Political Sciences. Subsequently, in 2009-2010, they earned an MA from UCL in Identity, Culture, and Power. In 2011, they furthered their knowledge in Nuclear Safeguards through a program offered by the European Commission - European Safeguards Research and Development Association. Additionally, they completed a course on Inside Nuclear Energy at The Open University in the same year. John also explored Politics, Philosophy, and Economics at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen in 2007 and University of Groningen in 2006. Looking ahead, they plan to obtain an LLM degree in Master of Laws from BPP University in 2022-2023. Lastly, during 2020 and ongoing, they have been pursuing a qualification in Health and Safety, specifically Managing Safely (IOSH), from the Institution of Occupational Health & Safety.
