Gail Vinnacombe-Willson is a Postdoctoral Scholar at CIC biomaGUNE, with prior experience as a Visiting Graduate Student Researcher at INSTITUT DE CIÈNCIA DE MATERIALS DE BARCELONA (ICMAB-CSIC) and as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles. Gail has also worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of San Francisco. Gail's research has focused on creating nanopatterned plasmonic substrates, integrating plasmonic nanoparticles for biomedical applications, and elucidating mechanisms related to annulene carbon-carbon rearrangements. Gail holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Chemistry from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of San Francisco.
