Alejandra Winter Etcheberry

Director, CIC Connect at CIC

Alejandra Winter Etcheberry has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Alejandra began their career as a Graduate Internship at Momodesign in 2012. In 2010, they co-founded Designing Better Futures (DBF) Innovation Lab and served as a Project Manager. In 2011, they presented a co-authored dissertation at the European Group for Organizational Studies (EGOS) conference.

From 2013 to 2015, Alejandra worked as the Director of Operations at IF (Ideas Factory), responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the entrepreneurial hub. Alejandra then moved on to Corporate Responsibility Miami, where they co-founded and co-directed the organization, empowering CR professionals to guide collective positive impact.

In 2016, Alejandra joined CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center) as the Community Principal, leading internal programming and fostering connections between CIC clients and external organizations. Alejandra later became the Site and Community Lead at CIC Miami, specializing in elevating member experiences and bridging the health district with Miami's innovation corridor.

Alejandra's experience extends beyond the United States. In 2020, they joined Fundación Tremendas as an Advisory Board Member, supporting their efforts to empower female youth and generate social impact. Alejandra also served as a Professor and Speaker at Academia de Emprendedores | AdemLatam, responsible for teaching the Soft Landing class.

In 2021, Alejandra took on the role of Director at Rebelius, and in 2022, they became an Advisory Board Member at Option Venture Studio, providing support for startups and developing technology-based solutions.

Most recently, Alejandra has been working at CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center) as the Interim Director of International Soft Landing Strategy, focusing on international expansion and strategy development.

Alejandra Winter Etcheberry has a diverse education history. Alejandra completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Civil Engineering at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in 2010. From 2008 to 2011, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Engineering from the same institution. In 2011, they attended Politecnico di Milano and earned a Master's degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, and Innovation the following year. In 2013, Alejandra received a Grado Académico de Design Thinking from the Hasso Plattner Institute. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from edX, including "IDB15x: Realidad Social Latinoamericana" in November 2017, "Rights2xES: Derechos humanos: Los derechos de las personas refugiadas" in September 2017, and "SW47x: Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies" in March 2017.
