Irina Pinheiro

Irina Pinheiro is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in scientific culture and outreach. Currently serving as the Coordinator of the Scientific Culture, Outreach and Programming Unit and Project Manager at Ciência Viva since 2021, Irina previously worked as an Event Coordinator and Translator at Almada Mundo from January 2018 to September 2020, managing workshops and translating documentation in adult education and technology. Irina's academic background includes a PhD focused on microRNAs in early blood development at EMBL, along with various educational qualifications in Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, and Project Management.
