James Boughton

Senior Fellow at Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI)

James Boughton is a Senior Fellow at CIGI and a Member of the Editorial Board for Essays in International Finance. With a Ph.D. in Economics from Duke University, James has been a Historian at the International Monetary Fund since 1981, specializing in macroeconomic research and policy analysis. Boughton has also served as Assistant Director of the Policy Development and Review Department at the IMF.
