Emmanuel Achugwo is a qualified lab technical associate currently employed at CIHPNG since January 2021, bringing significant experience in molecular diagnostics from previous roles, including program specialist at Health Initiatives for Safety and Stability in Africa (HIFASS)-DOD from June 2016 to January 2021. Emmanuel's expertise includes performing viral load testing and early infant diagnosis using RNA and DNA PCR, as well as preparing quality control procedures aligned with WHO Afro-SLMTA protocols. Emmanuel has facilitated training and meetings on good clinical laboratory practices and engages in ongoing HIV support research in Nigeria. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Health in International Public Health from Teesside University and a Master of Diagnostic Immunology from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, complemented by a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science from Imo State University.
