Joel Bloom

Joel Bloom has extensive experience in finance and hospitality. Joel most recently worked at CIM Group as the VP of Hospitality Finance, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of AVP Hospitality Finance at the same company from 2021 to 2022. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Finance Hospitality Consultant at JB Hospitality Financial Consultants.

Joel also held various roles at Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, where they worked as the Director of Finance from 2011 to 2019. Before that, they worked as a Lodging Financial Consultant at The Canyons Resort, providing financial consulting services for their lodging division from 2009 to 2011.

Joel held the position of Vice President of Finance at Fontainebleau Las Vegas Resort & Casino from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, they were the Director of Finance & Accounting at Orlando World Center Marriott from 2002 to 2008. In this role, they led finance and accounting functions and developed the annual operating budget.

Joel also worked as the Director of Finance & Accounting at Atlanta Marriott Marquis from 1999 to 2002. Additionally, they held the position of Controller at Stouffer/Renaissance Hotel Companies from 1983 to 1999.

Joel Bloom completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Travel Administration from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst from 1978 to 1982. Joel then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business from the University of Central Florida from 2005 to 2007.
