Cristina S. Lugo is a Project Manager at CIMA+ since February 2019, specializing in the design and construction of municipal water projects in Ontario. Previous roles include Project Engineer and Project Engineer in Training at Ontario Clean Water Agency, focusing on process and energy optimization for the Region of Peel's water system. Cristina has also served as YP Treasurer at the Water Environment Association of Ontario and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Trojan Technologies, developing new water treatment products and systems. Academic contributions include roles as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Western University, a Professor at Universidad Tecnológica de San Luis Potosí, and research internships at Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and McMaster University. Cristina holds a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from Western University, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí.
