Cheap Hong

Cheap Hong has a extensive work experience in the banking industry. They started their career in 2005 at ANZ, where they held various positions such as Assistant Relationship Manager, Relationship Manager, Senior Relationship Manager (Corporate and Institutional Banking), Senior Credit Manager, and Chief Risk Officer for ANZ Laos. In 2013, they joined CIMB Bank PLC and held roles such as Head of Risk - CIMB Bank Plc (Cambodia), Acting Head of Consumer Banking, and currently serve as the Head of Commercial Banking. Cheap Hong has experience in credit risk management, operational risk, market risk, and liquidity risk. They have also demonstrated leadership skills and have been involved in credit approval discretion, coaching and support, and managing direct reports. They have a strong background in risk management and contribute to the sustainable growth of the banks they have worked for.

Cheap Hong obtained a Certificate in CIMB - INSEAD Leadership Program from INSEAD in 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned an MBA degree in Finance and Banking from Norton University (Cambodia) from 2001 to 2003.
