Lisa Mauthe Edd, Afc®

Lisa Mauthe, EdD, AFC®, has a solid background in financial services and operations management. Lisa most recently served as the Director of Financial Wellness at Cincinnati Works starting in July 2018. Prior to that, they were the Financial Services Supervisor at Brighton Center from January 2013 to July 2018. Lisa also has experience as a Business Operations Manager at Go Wireless from January 2008 to July 2012, and as a Finance and Operations Manager at Team, the Agency, Inc. from November 1996 to June 2006.

Lisa Mauthe, EdD, AFC®, holds a Doctor of Education - EdD degree in Educational Leadership / Social Justice from Northern Kentucky University. Lisa also obtained a Master of Liberal Arts degree in English and American Literature and Language from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Music degree in Audio Production from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.

In addition to their academic achievements, Lisa Mauthe has acquired various certifications. Lisa is an Accredited Financial Counselor obtained from AFCPE® (Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education®) in January 2023. Lisa also holds a certification in Getting Talent Back to Work from the SHRM Foundation, obtained in October 2022. In February 2021, they received a certification in Mental Health First Aid for Adults from Mental Health America.

Furthermore, Lisa Mauthe holds a Credit as an Asset Master Trainer Certification from the Credit Builders Alliance, obtained in October 2020. Lisa is also a HUD Certified Housing Counselor, certified by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in March 2018. In December 2013, they achieved an NCHEC Certification in Pre-Purchase Homeownership Education (non-profit) from the NeighborWorks Center for Homeownership Education and Counseling.

Additionally, Lisa Mauthe has obtained certifications in Volunteer Income Tax Assistance from the Internal Revenue Service in January 2013 and as a Notary Public, State at Large from the Commonwealth of Kentucky in 2011.
