Cynthia Kerns

Cynthia Kerns has an extensive background in technical writing and documentation. Cynthia began their career as a Technical Writer at 10Net Communications in 1986, where they were responsible for writing, editing, and creating illustrations for LAN software and hardware documentation. After three years at 10Net Communications, they joined Monarch Marking Systems in 1989 as a Computer Communications Writer, where they focused on creating user and developer documentation for Windows-based software. In 1992, Cynthia joined Cincom Systems as a Lead Technical Writer. During their time at Cincom Systems, they were responsible for technical writing and help development for software applications and development tools. Cynthia managed the content for four product lines and produced online document sets using Agile methodologies.

Cynthia Kerns earned a B.A. in Computer Science from Capital University in 1992. Additionally, they pursued Electronic Engineering Technology and Communications at the University of Dayton, but it is unclear when they attended or if they obtained a degree in this field.
