Surinder Kumar

Surinder Kumar has a comprehensive work experience in various leadership roles in sourcing and operations. Surinder is currently working as the Senior Vice President, Global Sourcing at Cinemark since June 2022. Prior to this, Surinder served as the Director of Global Operations at Thermo Fisher Scientific from April 2020 to May 2022. Surinder also worked at GE Healthcare as a Sourcing Operational Excellence Leader from October 2018 to April 2020. Before that, Surinder held the position of Director Global Sourcing at Hillphoenix Inc, a pioneer manufacturer of display cases, from December 2015 to April 2018. Surinder also has experience as a Global Sourcing Leader at Wayne, A GE Energy Business from February 2013 to December 2015, and at GEIT from July 2007 to March 2013, where they managed sourcing for a $1 billion business. Surinder has additional experience in sourcing productivity and quality system administration at GE Transportation and GE Power Systems respectively. Surinder started their career as an intern at GE Power & Water in 2001. Surinder Kumar obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management Information Systems from the Fox School of Business at Temple University from 2000 to 2002.
