Sarah McGraw Greenberg has extensive experience in the community development and affordable housing field. Sarah'smost recent role is as the President of Cinnaire Lending, a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and member bank of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago. In this role, they set the strategy for Cinnaire Lending's growth and manages teams responsible for originating, underwriting, closing, and managing loans for affordable housing and community development projects.

Prior to their current position, Sarah served as the Senior Vice President of Cinnaire Lending, where they led originations, underwriting, and closing for the organization. Sarah also served as the Senior Vice President for Underwriting (Debt), leading the Affordable Housing Lending team.

Before joining Cinnaire, Sarah worked as the Director of Real Estate Underwriting at High Impact Financial Analysis, where they managed a team that provided underwriting and financial analysis services to social impact investors.

Sarah also has experience as a Principal Consultant at Greenberg Strategies LLC, where they provided management consulting and advisory services to nonprofit organizations, intermediaries, CDFIs, and social enterprises. Sarah has held other leadership positions in various organizations, including serving as the Director of Milwaukee's Community Development Alliance and the Director of Lending at the Northwest Side Community Development Corporation. Sarah has also worked in senior roles at NeighborWorks America and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Sarah McGraw Greenberg has a diverse educational background. Sarah first attended Cuyahoga Community College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies in 1996. Following this, they went on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Organizational Management from Tiffin University in 2003.

In 2007, Sarah pursued a Master of Community Planning degree specializing in Environmental Planning and Historic Preservation at the University of Maryland. Sarah then furthered their education in 2009 with a Fellowship from the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University, where they completed the Leading From the Middle program as part of their professional development.

Sarah's commitment to enhancing their public policy skills led their to Harvard University in 2012, where they participated in a Fellowship at the Kennedy School of Government, specifically focusing on achieving excellence. That same year, they attended the Global Social Enterprise Initiative at Georgetown University, taking part in the New Strategies Program.

Showing a continuous dedication to learning, Sarah recently completed a Professional Certificate in Municipal Finance from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago in 2020.
