Santiago Esteva

Santiago Esteva has over 20 years of work experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Santiago is currently the Senior Director of Software Engineering at Cint, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Director of Software Engineering at Lucid, LLC from 2021 to 2023, where they led distributed teams in building products for the AdTech ResTech industry. Before that, Santiago worked at Sabre Airline Solutions from 2014 to 2020, first as a Sr Principal Software Architecture - Director Front End Engineering and then as a Manager Engineering Architecture. In these roles, they guided product development teams and played multiple roles, including architect, tech lead, and developer. Santiago also has experience as a Tech Lead at Travelocity from 2010 to 2014, where they led development teams and provided technical guidance. Santiago began their career as a Tech Lead and Senior Java Web Applications Developer at IT Convergence from 2006 to 2010. Santiago co-founded Entrepreneurship Web Studio in 2003, where they were involved in web design, development, and SEO/SEM.

- In 2018, Santiago attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and obtained a degree in MIT Sloan Executive Technology, Operations, and Value Chain Management.

- From 2000 to 2005, Santiago studied at Universidad Centro de Altos Estudios en Ciencias Exactas (Universidad CAECE) and achieved a degree in Business Management.

- From 1999 to 2001, Santiago attended CEPEC - La Suisse and obtained a degree in Hotel Management.

In addition to their formal education, Santiago has also obtained certifications in React: Securing Applications from LinkedIn and MIT Sloan Executive Technology, Operations, and Value Chain from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
