Shigeru Ohira

Shigeru Ohira has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Shigeru currently holds the position of Vice President of Sales and Customer Success at Cint, where they are responsible for driving business growth and opportunities with key existing accounts in Japan and Korea. Shigeru is also a member of the regional commercial team, contributing to strategy creation and planning new business development.

Prior to their role at Cint, Shigeru worked as a Business Development Director at Atheneum, leading and developing strategic initiatives for management consulting firms and corporations in Japan. Shigeru was also involved in evaluating and adjusting the service value proposition, as well as planning and implementing process improvements.

Before Atheneum, Shigeru served as the Vice President of Business Development at GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group) in Japan. Shigeru was responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic initiatives.

Earlier in their career, Shigeru held the position of Sales Director at SLI Systems, where they relaunched a startup business development by planning sales strategies and building a local team in Japan. Shigeru focused on new customer acquisition and executed contract agreements with top online retailers. Shigeru also provided services to existing clients.

Shigeru has also worked as a Client Development Manager at S&P Global, Director of Asian Business Development at The NPD Group, Brand Manager at Michelin, and Account Manager at Western Union.

Shigeru Ohira obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hosei University. Following this, they pursued an MBA degree with a focus on Marketing and Information Technology at the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business from 2000 to 2002.
