Olga Estrela Magalhães

Olga Estrela Magalhães is a Media Relations Specialist and coordinator of the Department of Communication and Image at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP).

Graduated in Journalism and Communication Sciences (2005), Master in Communication Sciences (2012) from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto (FLUP) and PhD in Communication Sciences from the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Minho (2020), Olga Estrela Magalhães is specialized in Media Consultancy in the area of ​​Health Research, with over ten years of experience in this field.

She began her professional activity in 2005, in the Department of Communication and Image at FMUP, having integrated several communication projects and assumed the operationalization of the institution's media strategy. Between March 2013 and May 2016, she combined the functions of Media Relations and the coordination of this Office, managing the areas of Event Organization, Public Relations and Protocol. Between 2016 and 2019, she was responsible for CINTESIS Communication.
