Eleanor Brennan

Eleanor Brennan has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and organizations. Eleanor most recently held the position of Senior Public Relations and Press Officer at CIPD since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Communications Executive at CIPD from June 2021 to May 2022. In 2020, Eleanor served as an Assistant Editor at Leprosy Review, a peer-reviewed journal focused on leprosy research. From 2019 to 2021, they were the Marketing & Communications Lead at Lepra, where they had responsibilities such as internal communications, press release management, and line management of interns. Eleanor also participated in the Simon Cumbers Media Fund Student Scheme in 2017 and worked as a Communications and Development Officer at the Padre Pio Rehabilitation Centre in Ghana in 2015, where they handled various tasks including newsletter creation, office assistance, teaching English, and coordinating visits from potential sponsors.

Eleanor Brennan completed their Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and New Media at the University of Limerick from 2013 to 2017. In 2016, they also participated in an exchange program at Murdoch University, where they studied Public Relations and Communications for a brief period. Later, from 2018 to 2020, Eleanor pursued a Masters degree in International Relations and Affairs at Dublin City University.
