Aisling Y

Aisling Y has held various positions in the IT and media industries since 2014. Aisling began their career as a Freelance/Staff Video Editor at TV3 Television Ireland before taking a role as a Craft Video Editor at UTV Ireland in 2015. In 2017, they became a Senior Video Editor at JOE.ie before transitioning to a Security Analyst role at the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) in 2019. In 2021, Aisling Y took on a role as IT Administrative Support at BCS Calibration, and is currently a Detection Engineer and SOC Incident Responder - Intern at CipherTechs, Inc.

Aisling Y has a diverse educational background. In 2021, they obtained a Learn Python 3 Course certification from Codecademy. From 2011 to 2013, they earned a Diploma in Gaeilge from the University of Galway. Aisling also earned a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Cumarsaid (Media & Communications) from the University of Galway from 2009 to 2014. In 2022, they earned a CPD Diploma in Fundamentals of Computing from Technological University Dublin. Aisling is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Advanced Software Development from Technological University Dublin, which they are expected to complete in 2024.
