Charlie McCormick

Charlie McCormick has worked in the cyber security field since 1997. From 1997 to 2001, they were a Network Engineer for Jannon Consultant Group, where they coordinated a major Cablevision network expansion for remote corporate offices across six states. Charlie then worked as a Network Engineer/Project Manager for Everest Broadband from 1998 to 2001, where they were responsible for installing and configuring broadband networks and satellite TV for commercial and residential buildings. In 2001, they began working for Professional Inter-Networking Group as a Project Manager/Network Engineer, where they were responsible for coordinating mainframe, server, and desktop connections with corporate customers/vendors. From 2007 to 2014, they worked as a Consultant for Cicero Designs, where they designed and developed websites for the SMB market on CMS platforms utilizing HTML, CSS, and PHP. From 2014 to 2016, they were the SOC Manager for CipherTechs, where they were responsible for building an MSSP department providing managed services for Fortune 500 and high-target companies in medical and critical infrastructure industries. Finally, from 2016 to 2017, they were a Cyber Security Analyst for MSA Security, where they were responsible for cybersecurity monitoring in a high-target government agency.

Charlie McCormick attended Fairfield University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in English/Communications.
