Alan Moran

Alan Moran has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Alan currently works as a Software Engineering Manager at CipherTrace, a Mastercard company. Prior to that, they were the Head of Blockchain Engineering at Emergent Entertainment, where they also served as the Web3 Team Lead and Architect. Before joining Emergent Entertainment, Alan worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Pluto Digital, where they were a Team Lead and played a key role in service deployment pipelines and observability implementation.

Alan also has a significant tenure at Red Hat, where they held various leadership and engineering positions. Alan was a Principal Regional Team Lead in Site Reliability Engineering, a Principal Team Lead, and a Senior Software Maintenance Engineer. Alan started their journey at Red Hat as a Software Maintenance Engineer and Consultant. Additionally, Alan worked at FeedHenry, which was later acquired by Red Hat, as a Cloud Operations Engineer and Junior Engineer.

In addition, they have obtained two certifications: the Cryptocurrency Tracing Certified Examiner (CTCE) and the Certified Cryptocurrency Risk Specialist (CCRS) from CipherTrace, a Mastercard company. Alan acquired the CTCE certification in May 2023 and obtained the CCRS certification in March 2023.
