Vishal M.

Vishal M. has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Vishal began their career in 2002 as the Head of HP-Stanford Meta-Compiler Initiative, a collaboration between HP and Stanford University. In 2004, they joined Pinnacle Systems as a Senior Technical Lead/Manager, where they developed a Log Analytics platform to analyze logs from Video Servers for glitch-free rendering. In 2007, they became the VP of Engineering & CTO at VBune, Inc, where they led a pioneering engineering team that developed a cloud native log collection and analysis system. In 2008, they were the Head of Storage Management Division/Section at HP, where they were responsible for end-to-end platform from Engineering, Product to DevOps of 3 storage product lines. In 2009, they were the VP of Engineering at a P2P Cloud Startup, where they built and led a technical team delivering a SaaS based Storage tiering Prediction platform. In 2010, they joined Cognizant as the Chief Technology Officer, US. During their time at Cognizant, they led a team of Senior Directors, Directors, and Principle Engineers to build SaaS-based platforms, and was a Member of Apache Spark Advisory Forum 2016. In 2019, they became the CTO (Data Science & Deep Learning) at YuAps Inc, where they led the design and development of a cloud-native Deep Reinforcement Learning OS Platform. In 2020, they were the VP, Engineering & Data Analytics, Member of Executive Team at Verana Health, a GV: Google Ventures Backed healthcare startup. In 2021, they joined a Stealth Startup as the Technology & Innovation Leadership, working with the founders to build a scalable Deep Learning-based platform for applications @ edge. Finally, in 2022 they joined CipherTrace, a Mastercard company, as the Vice President Of Engineering, Big Data.

Vishal M. has a varied educational background. Vishal holds a Master of Science in Computer Science Engineering from Stanford University, a Software Engineering degree from Carnegie Mellon University, an Executive MBA from Golden Gate University, and a BS & MS in Computer Networks from Georgian Technical University.
