Keenan Baynes

Keenan Baynes has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Keenan started their career at Ampath Laboratories as a Medical Laboratory Technologist, where they gained expertise in various laboratory processes and supervised contracted employees. Keenan then worked at AEC Amersham (Pty) Ltd as an Internal Sales Consultant before joining Norgine as a Sales Representative.

At Novartis, Keenan served as a Sales Representative and later as a National Key Accounts Manager, where they focused on developing and implementing benefit-based programs with key account customers. Keenan also collaborated with multiple decision-makers and built a hospital team.

Next, they joined Mylan as a Senior Key Account Manager, responsible for customer value creation and profitability across various distribution channels. Keenan managed contract negotiations, compiled forecasts, and achieved company budgets through consultative selling and effective customer solutions.

Currently, Keenan works at Cipla South Africa as an Associate Director - Key Account Manager. Here, they manage relationships with key customers, implements key account strategies, identifies regional sales opportunities, and drives business policies.

Throughout their career, Keenan has consistently demonstrated strong sales and management skills, prioritizing customer relationships and driving business growth.

Keenan Baynes has a diverse education history. In 2022, they obtained a First Line Management and Supervisory Programme Certification from Dyna Training (Pty) Ltd, specializing in Management and Leadership. In 2016, they completed the Management Advancement Programme (MAP) at Wits Business School, focusing on Business Administration and Management, General. From 1996 to 2000, Keenan attended the University of Johannesburg, where they earned a Baccalaureus Technologiae degree in Biomedical Technology. Lastly, in the years 1989 to 1994, they received their National Senior Certificate from R W Fick Senior Secondary School, successfully completing their high school education. Additionally, Keenan holds a COVID-19 Vaccination Certification obtained from the Department of Health - Republic of South Africa in May 2021.
