Steve Menke

Steve Menke is the CTO of Curavi Health, Inc. His role is to apply his consumer and clinical product development experience to raise the bar in post-acute care technology solutions. Curavi Health is a spin-out of UPMC Enterprises and is being built on the latest in interdisciplinary clinical research in the field of telemedicine and clinical decision support. Prior to Curavi, Steve served as CIO of BodyMedia which was acquired by Jawbone in 2013. BodyMedia was a pioneer in wearable body monitors that were used in clinical, research and consumer settings. The BodyMedia platform was registered with the FDA as a Class II medical device. Steve holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh. He is the winner of the Pittsburgh Technology Council CIO of the year and holds multiple patents in the wearable body monitory.
