Zakariya Niazi

Zakariya Niazi is the current CEO at Circle Optics. Prior to this, they were a Front End Developer at One Zero Capital from December 2014 to January 2016. There, they implemented frontend for various financial applications using Node.js, Angular and Ember. From November 2011 to May 2012, Zakariya was a software engineer at Sydor Optics where they aided in the design and construction of an instrument used to test optical components for microscopic defects. Zakariya also wrote a program to raster scan a laser beam across the surface of an optic and detect for deformities through measurement of the diffracted beam. From March 2011 to August 2011, Zakariya was a marketing development intern at Stella Design where they developed a Strategic Marketing Model for a Brand Management Firm in Sydney, Australia to be implemented in the 2012 Fiscal year. Additionally, they have experience with Thulium Fiber Laser Design from their time at the University of Sydney from March 2011 to August 2011 and Optical System Design from their time at the University of New South Wales from October 2012 to June 2013.

Zakariya Niazi has a Bachelor of Science in Optical Engineering from the University of Rochester, as well as a High School Diploma from Edgemont High School. Zakariya also attended the Summer Institute of Business and Technology at The Wharton School.
