Hector Aguilar

Hector Aguilar is an experienced technology executive currently serving as a Board Member at CircleCI since 2021. Prior to this, Aguilar held various leadership roles at Okta, Inc., including President of Technology and CTO, where responsibilities encompassed driving technology vision and managing product engineering and technology teams from January 2012 to September 2021. Prior experience includes roles as CTO & EVP of Engineering, CTO & SVP of Engineering, and VP of Engineering at Okta, and CTO & VP of Software Development at HP's ArcSight. Aguilar's extensive background also includes significant positions at ArcSight, Impresse, ICA, Grupo Televisa, and Ericsson, with a focus on software development, engineering management, and IT operations. Aguilar holds an M.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Electronic Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
